BUSINESS ANALYST

Essential qualifications are:

Grade 12 education plus a related Bachelor Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business), or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

A minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in a related position preferably in local government;

RCMP Reliability Status (Enhanced Security Clearance);
Preferred qualifications:
-
Associate Certificate in Business Analysis
-
ITIL Foundation certificate
-
Experience with the following software: Cityview, Vadim, ActiveNet, FDM, Sharepoint
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Create business cases, documentation, knowledge bases and other support material
-
Experience with process design and management
-
Ensure processes are designed, managed, trained and followed

Management of small and medium sized projects, requirements gathering

Support the organization in all aspects of the development and implementation of Information Systems

Work with Stakeholders on the implementation of new and existing IT Systems (such as ERP/Finance, Development Management, Recreation, Fire, Document Management)

Provide tier 2 and 3 support, troubleshoot, analyze and coordinate the resolution of system incidents and problems
This is a full time permanent position working 35 hours a week and offers an hourly rate of $38.55 along with an attractive benefit package and municipal pension plan.
