Senior Planning Officer: Competition #37-2010

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist and advise the Manager of Planning and Development Services on matters to support planning policies and other Department initiatives;
• Review, analyze and make recommendations on amendment and subdivision applications;
• Provide information and assistance to applicants for amendment and subdivision applications;
• Review plans of survey and descriptive plans submitted for final
approval.

Qualifications:

This position requires a degree in Land Use Planning from a post secondary institute with a minimum of 5 years of relevant planning experience.

Your competencies include excellent supervisory and customer service skills, organizational and time management skills coupled with strong grammar and spelling.
